WEY Models

There are 5 commercialized models and 1 concept vehicle under the WEY brand: XEV concept vehicle, P8 Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), hybrid VV7s-Hi4 and VV5s-Hi4 and conventionally powered VV7 and VV5.

Concept vehicle

XEV is styled entirely on aerodynamic principles to minimize wind resistance of its exterior shape and optimize its energy consumption, its interior and exterior styling embody technological elements for both modern and future design. XEV integrates surprisingly large interior space with the idea of making cars “an extension of the home” to create a perfect combination of human driver and car.

Conventional models

VV7 interprets the concept of accessible luxury and safety DNA of the WEY brand perfectly, it’s equipped with Collie intelligent driver assistance system and multiple active & passive safety features. In addition, VV7’s cabin is designed based on stringent safety standards in the auto industry to guarantee occupant safety and comfortable driving experience.

VV5 integrates its remarkable safety performance with advanced technologies, it’s powered by a newly-developed 4C20NT gasoline engine. Great Wall Motor targets younger consumers with VV5 due to this group’s characteristics of pursuing a higher quality of life as well as work-life balance.

Hybrid models

P8 is the first PHEV model under the WEY brand, which is equipped with the industry-leading intelligent plug-in 4WD technology to provide drivers with quiet and stable driving experience without sacrificing outstanding vehicle performance.

VV7s-Hi4 is hybrid-powered VV7 model with the in-house developed 48V-P4 platform, which combines 4C20NT gasoline engine with a BSG and an electric motor to optimize its energy efficiency. 

VV5s-Hi4 is hybrid-powered VV5 model with the in-house developed 48V-P4 platform, which combines 4C20NT gasoline engine with a BSG and an electric motor to optimize its energy efficiency.
